Do you make your bed every morning?
Bravo!
On this particular week, early 2021, I was tired, not feeling well, so I did not make my bed.
Having the itch to paint, I painted my bed, as it was. The above painting is what resulted.
- Are you happy when you are painting?
- Are you happy when you finish a painting?
- Are you happy to find time to paint?
45 Minutes A Day, are all you need.
- Do you have 45 minutes a day to paint?
- Can you figure out where those 45 minutes may come from?
- Do you have your art supplies available to begin painting at anytime?
Assuming you have a life other than full-time artist, you need to carve out a 45 minute chunk of time for your art.
But where? You know yourself and your responsibilities, however, if you are an artist, you must do art. Everyday. Oh, you can take your weekends off from art if you want, on whatever days your weekends are.
- WHAT YOU MUST DO NOW:
- Take a moment and write down your schedule for the week
- Factor in time for commute, eating and cooking, getting children ready, etc.
- Look to see where you have 45 minutes to block out for your art.
Have you found those 45 minutes that are as important as any other times of the day? Congrats. You are on your way to creating art on a consistant basis.
